Five years later... as told by the co-founder, Skeet - a.k.a. Jason Dorland.
After growing the market for soy nuts for a few years, we decided to add more natural and organic snacks. We had grown our production plant and started doing private label production for US companies, but we wanted to continue to grow the Skeet & Ike’s brand
We launched a line of non-nut snacks in convenient stand-up pouches. Items such as Organic Roasted Pumpkin Seeds, Organic Roasted Sunflower Seeds, Natural Corn Snacks and Natural Wasabi Peas remain top sellers for us.
We also launched another business as a distributor and started distributing for other companies. We figured that we were managing our brand well in BC… why not other brands as well? This started out as a few lines and then grew to 20 lines as well as Organic Bulk Ingredients.
